Harley-Davidson’s sales have dropped for four straight years with a 10.2% decline last year. So, the company is desperately looking to reinvent itself.
A solution might be offering an alternative to the e-scooters which have taken over most large urban centers as of late.
CNN’s Matt McFarland reports that the company has recently released photos of two lightweight electric vehicle concepts and announced last week that it had acquired StaCyc, an electric balance bikes manufacturer.
The company has not announced if they plan to commercialize or rent-out these vehicles short-term, so we’ll have to wait to see how this story develops.
